MVP and SaaS development for international startups

For founders outside India who need a first paid product-not a theatre deck. Utility Cube in Bhubaneswar will argue with you about scope, then ship a cut you can demo to a customer on a Tuesday.

What we will push out of v1

Referral programmes, five pricing tiers, a public API, and a mobile app “while we are at it” are how MVPs become unpaid platforms. We write a kill-list in discovery. If a feature does not change whether a named buyer can complete the job, it waits.

If you already have paying design partners and a repo, skip the greenfield package and staff a dedicated developer. If you do not, do not buy a six-person bench.

What usually stays in

  • Auth, roles, and an audit trail you will need the first time a customer asks “who changed this?”
  • One core workflow done properly, on web, with US/UK/AU date and currency formats as required.
  • Billing if money is part of the product-typically Stripe.
  • An admin view so you are not SSH-ing into production to reset a password.

Founder context differs by country

Same studio, different first-week questions. Use the country page for hours and currency; use this page for the product cut.

USA founders

Stripe-first, ET demo slot, Delaware/LLC on the SOW. HIPAA or SOC 2 language only if the product truly needs it-and then as a scoped control list, not a badge.

UK founders

Best daily overlap. Cookie and UK GDPR hooks in the backlog if you store EU/UK personal data. GBP invoice available.

Australian founders

Afternoon AU reviews. ABN on the invoice. Xero later if ops software is the product; do not drag accounting into a consumer MVP.

Canadian founders

ET hours like the US East. Plan en/fr strings early if Quebec is in the first market. CAD invoices; no Interac.

UAE founders

Near-full overlap. Decide Arabic in v1 vs v1.1. Free-zone legal name on the contract. AED or USD.

How we work overseas

NDA, Slack, weekly Zoom demos, Wise/PayPal/Stripe/wire, and IP handover. Read this before you debate sprint length.

Indicative starting prices for foreign founders

USD “from” figures so a founder in any of the five markets can sanity-check the conversation. Not a quote and not a promise that every SaaS ships at the MVP floor.

Web MVP

From ~USD 1,500

One workflow, auth, admin. Country pages list local-currency conversions.

SaaS first cut

Scoped after discovery

Tenants, plans, and Stripe entitlements change the number. See SaaS development for the broader service.

Mobile companion

From ~USD 2,000

Only if the job cannot be done in a browser. Many founders should wait.

Founder-engineer retainer

From ~USD 1,200/mo

After v1, when the backlog is real. Dedicated developer page has the model.

Process

Cut, build, charge, iterate

01

Kill-list workshop

Who pays, what they do in week one, what we refuse to build. NDA if the idea is still quiet.

02

Fixed-scope estimate

Screens, integrations, and a week-by-week demo plan. Currency and payment method (Wise, PayPal, Stripe, wire) written down.

03

Weekly staging demos

You click the product every week. Scope changes are written, not absorbed. Your repo, your cloud accounts.

04

Launch and a thinner team

IP handover, then either a retainer or one dedicated engineer-not a permanent 8-person squad you do not need yet.

Country pages for hours and currency

Country pages for buyers who want local time-zone notes, currency, and compliance context-plus a hub on how we work with overseas clients.

Frequently Asked Questions

The smallest product a specific buyer can log into and pay for-or, for an internal tool, the one workflow that retires a spreadsheet. It is not a clickable prototype and it is not a 40-module platform. We write the cut line with you before the estimate.
Indicative starting points for foreign founders: a tightly scoped web MVP from about USD 1,500, a mobile companion from about USD 2,000, and a dedicated founder-engineer from about USD 1,200 per month after launch. Multi-tenant billing, seats, and audit logs push a SaaS first release higher. These are not quotes. Country pages show GBP, AUD, CAD, and AED conversions.
A narrow web MVP is often 8–16 weeks after discovery. A multi-tenant SaaS with plans, trials, and an admin console is more often 12–20 weeks. We will not put “two weeks to unicorn” on a slide.
Yes. Stripe is the default for US, UK, AU, CA, and many UAE founders. We can add PayPal or a local method if you name it. Subscription upgrades, invoices, and webhook-driven entitlements are part of a SaaS scope-not a surprise change order.
You do. NDA before a detailed idea dump. IP and repositories assign to the founder company on the SOW after paid invoices. We do not take equity as a default and we do not keep a licence to your product.
The SaaS development page is the service in general, including Indian buyers and larger platforms. This page is for overseas founders who care about time zones, international payments, and a first-release cut. Read both if useful; they are not hreflang copies of each other.
That is a common path. Ship a fixed-scope v1, then keep one engineer on a monthly contract so the roadmap does not die after launch. See hire dedicated developers for the monthly model.

International inquiry

Send the brief, not the pitch deck

Form, WhatsApp +91 91142 44554, or [email protected]. One page: buyer, job-to-be-done, kill-list, country, and when you need a first demo.

  • NDA before a detailed idea dump
  • Fixed-scope v1, then optional dedicated developer
  • Stripe-ready billing when money is part of the product
